Enchanting Retreat in the heart of Redwoods

The listing photos were misleading.The upstairs loft where the sleeping area was has a ceiling so low that the only way to move around is to crawl. It felt very claustrophobic. If you sit up in the bed which is a mattress on the floor you will bump your head.We left after one night and found different accommodations. I sent the host a message and his response was that he was sorry the place didn't work out, but he didn't offer any kind of partial refund.

Lovely wooded retreat in a tasteful, clean and comfortable tiny house Positive: So much fun staying in a tiny house! Very nicely appointed, comfortable and cozy! Close to the beautiful Armstrong Woods and town! Negative: The parking was a bit tight. But otherwise it was fine

Had to crawl into and out of the bed, 24 inch ceiling. Negative: The sleeping loft had a ceiling that was about 24 inches high in the center and shorter on the sides. Having to crawl into the beds for someone with a bad knee and back was very difficult. No where in the description of the property was it mentioned that the loft had a very low ceiling. I definitely would have chosen a different property if I had known about the ceiling height.
